They say to do great things, one must step beyond their comfort zone to test the limits of character. Visiting Salt Lake City to face a team in the Utah Utes, a BCS busting program who jumps to the Pac-10 in 2011, falls into this category. For the Pittsburgh Panthers of 2010, as the kids say, it’s on like Donkey Kong.
Tonight’s game is pretty huge. There’s no way around it.
If Pitt wins we can all believe in the hype. If the Panthers lose we’ll all wonder if this program is part of the nation’s elite. What’s certain is these three things must come together for Pitt to win at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Utah. (Hint: that guy above might have something to do with it.)

(AP) Ben Roethlisberger’s six-game suspension likely will be shortened to four games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after the two meet in New York on Friday.
Goodell has said he will make his decision after the preseason concludes. The Steelers play Carolina on Thursday night. Although the NFL has not confirmed the exact location or time for the meeting, Roethlisberger is expected to meet Goodell at league headquarters.more
